Blix Product Updates: October 2026

Cars can fly now, but you're still working late analyzing your quarterly tracking study?‍

We've been working hard to make tracking and recurring studies faster and easier to analyze in Blix.

The idea is simple: once you've set up your initial codebook, analyzing thousands of new responses should take just a few clicks. No need to start from scratch or repeat the same work with every new wave.

Here's what's new in Blix:

Continuous Analysis: Add More Data to Any Project

You can now add more data to an existing Blix project. Perfect for two common scenarios:‍

Tracking studies: Upload your next wave of data to an existing project, and Blix will automatically code new responses using the same codebook.‍

Surveys still in field: Start analyzing and sharing early insights with your client before data collection is complete, then add more responses as they come in.

Text Analysis API

Want to fully automate your tracking studies or stream coded data directly into dashboards and other workflows?

Our new Text Analysis API now lets you integrate Blix coding directly into your existing tools and automated research workflows.

You can use it to:

  • Automatically code responses as they arrive
  • Stream coded data into live dashboards
  • Connect Blix to survey platforms and panels
  • Integrate text analysis into your own tools and AI agents

Whether you're running ongoing trackers, collecting continuous feedback, or simply looking to remove another manual step from your workflow, we'd love to help you get started.

Reuse a Codebook From Any Project

Asking the same question across multiple studies? You can now load a codebook directly from a previous Blix project, making it easier to keep your coding consistent across studies without starting from scratch.

Just choose the project you want to reuse, and Blix will load the exact same codebook into your new analysis.

How to Choose the Right Verbatim Coding Software

Still figuring out the best way to analyze your open-ended survey responses?

We put together a guide to help you compare different verbatim coding tools and find the best fit for your needs.

From coding accuracy and speed to ease of use, pricing, and security, we cover what to look for, what questions to ask, and how to test a tool before committing.

What Should We Build Next?
